Welcome to Delco's Player Registration Page

Wednesday July 27,2011,

Registering players for the upcoming year is now completed through EPYSA's Got Soccer application.   The entire process is completed from the EPYSA website.

For instructions on how to affiliate your club in Got Soccer click the Player Registration link to the left.
Below are the instructions for registering your players and teams in Got Soccer after you affiliate your club.

NOTE:  This is the first year for utilizing this new player registration process so please be patient with the EPYSA office.

Up to the point of requesting league approval for a team all technical questions about the Got Soccer system and its usage should be addressed directly to EPYSA and Got Soccer.

For questions to the league registrar about player registration please email the league ONLY at epysaregistrar@delcosoccer.org

Thanks!

2011 Delco Team and Player Registration Process in Got Soccer

1.      Clubs need to affiliate first with Delco in Got Soccer before trying to register their teams or players (instructions are on the Delco home page below, questions should be addressed to Got Soccer support or EPYSA)

2.      Clubs will enter their teams that have been registered on the Delco website affiliating them with Delco in Got Soccer (instructions are on the Delco home page, questions should be addressed to Got Soccer support or EPYSA)

3.      Clubs/teams will establish their teams and team rosters in Got Soccer (questions should be addressed to Got Soccer support or EPYSA)

4.      Teams will obtain a signed RG-6 form for each player as in the past.  If the Club uses Got Soccer for club registration then the RG-6 may be signed and maintained electronically.  If the Club does not use Got Soccer for club registration then the RG-6 form must be downloaded from the EPYSA website, completed, and signed as in the past.  Clubs will be responsible for maintaining all of their RG-6s. Delco will not be collecting them.

5.      Proof of age is required only for players who were not registered with EPYSA during the 2010-2011 soccer year.  A birth certificate must be uploaded in Got Soccer for each player for whom proof of age is required.  (questions regarding the process should be addressed to Got Soccer support)

If your club has an issue about uploading birth certificates please contact Monica at president@delcosoccer.org

6.      A picture must be uploaded in Got Soccer for each player on the team roster.  (questions regarding the process should be addressed to Got Soccer support)

7.      The Club Delegate will notify Delco via email only at (epysaregistrar@delcosoccer.org) when teams are ready for approval.  This notification should include the club name, the delegate contact info, team names, indicate any teams that are entirely new (proof of age required for all players), and indicate the team and player name of a new player (proof of age required).  Ideally we would like clubs to wait until all their teams are in the system and ready for approval  before contacting the registrar . Clubs need not wait until all teams are finished to request approval for completed teams if they have a  team(s) attending August tournaments.

8.      The league registrar will be going in to the system every Thursday to approve any pending teams for approval.  Periodically based on her availability she may go in on other days and approve rosters and teams but there is no guarantee on this.  Thursday evening is the league's designated night each week that she has set aside time to work on approving teams.  Do not expect any quicker turnaround time.

9.      The League Registrar will approve teams in Got Soccer and will generate the roster and player passes.

10.  Teams will then be able to print their roster and passes.  The approved roster will be printed with the EPYSA stamp and League Registrar’s signature.  Approved player passes will be printed with the player’s picture, the EPYSA stamp and League Registrar’s signature.  Passes may be printed on either preprinted pass stock or on plain stock.  New stock is available from EPYSA for 2011-2012.  The old stock with "Affix Picture Here" on the back should not be used as the wording may bleed through the picture when printed.  If you choose to use the old stock you must place a plain label over the words "Affix Picture Here".

11.  Clubs are responsible for laminating passes.  Passes MUST be laminated to be considered valid.

12.  The deadline for accomplishing approval of initial rosters and player passes is 9/2/11, or one week prior to the team’s first tournament, whichever comes first

EPYSA just released the process for secondary players at this time. For Delco secondary players are only allowed at the U15 and up age groups. An email with instructions about secondary players will be sent out by Delco shortly.

EPYSA has not released the process for additions, releases, and transfers.  Once the League receives directions they will be passed along to the Clubs.  All additions, releases, and transfers will need to be done in person by the Delco  Registrar in order to collect the associated EPYSA fee

The roster freeze date for Delco will be October 1, 2011
